May Events

Local Makers Spring Market & Festival
Saturday, May 11, 2024 | 10am - 3pm
Shop handmade items from local artists, including youth “Mini Makers.” The whole family is guaranteed to enjoy the day with face painting, balloon art, live music, and more.
Sunday, May 12, 2024 | 3pm - 5pm
Everyone is sure to have fun at this energetic and interactive Mother’s Day show, featuring Disney classics and top 40 hits. Food and drinks will be available during the concert. Get your tickets today!
Saturday, May 18, 2024 | 11am - 1pm
Enjoy sandwiches and sweets at the Key Peninsula Civic Center. Tickets are required.
Gig Harbor Beer Festival (21+ event)
Saturday, May 18, 2024 | 12pm - 5pm
There will be drinks and live music at this annual festival where you can sample brews from around the Puget Sound. Tickets are for sale on the festival’s website, and admission includes a pilsner cup (while supplies last) and taster tokens.
June Events
Saturday, June 1 & Sunday, June 2, 2024 | Various Times
This highly anticipated annual event is coming up! Saturday will feature a pancake breakfast, the Kid’s Dash and Family Fun Run, the Maritime Gig Grande Parade, a variety of live music, and vendor booths for businesses, crafts, food, and a children’s fair. Events on Sunday include a Local Makers Market, the Wheels on the Water Car Show, more live music, and the Blessing of the Fleet. Gig Harbor Film Festival Auction
Saturday, June 8, 2024 | 5pm - 8pm
Get excited about Gig Harbor’s 2024 Film Festival at this fundraising auction which will feature a plated dinner, news about September’s event, and more. Tickets are available here.
Thursday, June 20, 2024 | 11:30am - 8pm
Listen to live music all day long! If you are a musician yourself, bring your instrument and join the opening promenade. After that, there will be different stages throughout the pavilion offering a variety of music. It’s a free event, so all you need to bring is a chair. Check here for more information!

Enjoy the beauty of various gardens throughout the greater Gig Harbor area. Tickets for this self-guided tour go on sale Memorial Day weekend and can be purchased online or at several stores around town. With your ticket you will be given a booklet with directions to and descriptions of each garden.

Each Wednesday the Uptown pavilion will be full of flowers, compliments of the Gig Harbor Flower Farmers Guild. Stop by to say hello, browse the beautiful bouquets, and support these local growers.
Gig Harbor Demonstration Garden

Community Boat Restoration Program
Saturdays | 9am - 5pm
Learn about and assist with building, repairing, and restoring boats. For more information and to register, go to the Gig Harbor BoatShop’s website.
Did you know there is also a boat restoration program just for women? It takes place on Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm and you can learn more about it here.
Thursdays, June 6 - August 29, 2024 | 1pm - 6pm
Nothing says “summer” like a farmers market, and opening day for the Waterfront Farmers Market will be on Thursday, June 6th! Happening every Thursday through the end of August (except for July 4th), come by boat or foot and see all there is to choose from—food, flowers, artisan specialties, crafts, and more.
