Christmas lights add so much magic to the holiday season, and it’s just as delightful to see everyone’s creativity expressed in their displays (can we please take a moment to appreciate all the time and effort needed to plan for as well as put up those lights?!). Grab some hot chocolate, hop in the car with the family, and take a drive around town to check out some of these awesome light shows. If you want to know about even more places to experience the glow of the season, the Pacific NW Christmas Lights map is a great resource and will continue to be updated.

*Although not all locations have been confirmed for this year, be sure to check out the PNWCL and Kitsap Christmas Lights maps from 2021, as many of these places are sure to have displays up this year also.

The Gingerbread House - 2113 Kelp Place E, Port Orchard, WA 98366

  • Through January 1, 2024

  • 5pm - 12am

  • Come see this place dressed up as a gingerbread house with about 8,000 lights!

Garvins Light Show - 3087 SE Grovewood Street, Port Orchard, WA 98367

  • December 1, 2023 - January 2, 2024

  • 4:30pm - 10pm

  • See over 10,000 lights on display in this winter wonderland!

A Christmas Wonderland - 3045 SE Royalwood Place, Port Orchard, WA 98367

  • This animated light show is a must-see, with displays including blow molds, over 121,000 lights, and more than 440 channels! The neighborhood requests that you don’t block driveways, and watch out for people walking on the road.

Parkview Terrace Lights - 11621 Elder Avenue SW, Port Orchard, WA 98367 

  • December 1, 2023 - January 1, 2024

  • Weekdays: Dusk - 9pm

  • Weekends: Dusk - 10pm

  • Tune in to 89.7 FM as you enjoy blow molds, synced lights, and more, including the Grinch or Santa on the weekends, and Mrs. Claus the week before Christmas. You are welcome to take pictures!

  • See animated displays and a flying Santa at this place with 100 blow molds.

Tacoma & Surrounding Area

Believe in the Magic of Christmas - 5304 N Winnifred Street, Ruston, WA 98407

  • 5pm - 10pm

  • This yard is filled with over 20,000 lights and hundreds of blow molds. You are welcome to walk through the archway of lights and take pictures. 

Holiday on 47th Street - 5334 N 47th Street, Tacoma, WA 98407

  • Through January 1, 2024

  • Check this house out with a 25-foot Christmas tree, a 10-foot sparkling ornament frame, thousands of LED lights, and several light curtains.

Mason Avenue Light Show - 4116 N Mason Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98407

  • Through January 7, 2024

  • 7pm - 10pm (last show starts at 9:30pm)

  • This show with over 14,000 lights and more than 90 props is timed to 18 different songs on 99.5 FM. Check their Facebook page for when they’re officially up and running!

North Tacoma Holiday House - 7013 N 17th Street, Tacoma, WA 98406

  • December 1 - 31, 2023

  • 5pm - 9pm

  • You are welcome to park the car and walk through this Whoville-themed display and the tunnel of lights on the sidewalk (just be careful as it’s a busy street!). Be sure to share any photos you take on Instagram @northtacomaholidayhouse, and if you want to meet the Grinch come out on Saturday, December 16th (5pm - 8pm).

Anderberg’s Christmas House - 2019 S 10th Street, Tacoma, WA 98405

  • In their 15th year, you don’t want to miss this house, featuring more than 15 projectors, over 100 inflatables, and even a backyard display. Best seen on foot. For more information on when everything will be ready, check them out on Facebook and TikTok.

Robertson Lights to Music - 3315 Locust Avenue W, University Place, WA 98466 

  • Tune your radio to 88.9 FM to enjoy this light display!
