Gig Harbor Guide To Outdoor Dining with a View!

WATER VIEWS + DELISH EATS = BEST WAY TO EAT OUT IN GIG HARBOR THIS SUMMER!

There is nothing better than soaking up the summer sun in Washington. The actual slogan for Canterwood one summer was, “Every day is a vacation!” When our glorious summers roll around, it’s the truth!

We live for the clear, sunny, 75-degree days (don’t you dare go above 80 degrees or we’ll all melt) with postcard views of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound. Each summer my family and I go out exploring at low tide or take adventurous hikes. We inevitably work up a good appetite but are not quite ready to go indoors. We find ourselves saying, “Let’s eat outside!”, which is immediately followed by, “Who has the best outdoor patios?” So for your convenience, here is a list of the best places to eat al fresco in and around Gig Harbor.

Pick one of these lovely spots, order something tasty, sip a hand-crafted cocktail or an ice-cold beer, and soak up every last drop of that summer sun!

Up for an adventure into Seattle? Take the ferry from Bremerton into downtown Seattle and enjoy unforgettable front-row views of Mt. Rainier, the Puget Sound, and maybe even some sea life. Bring your lunch, purchase it at the ferry terminal, or choose from a plethora of options when you arrive in downtown Seattle after the ferry pulls in. That’s what I call a lunch with a view!

Enjoy the summer!
