WATER VIEWS + FIREWORKS = BEST FIREWORKS EVER!

I’ve compiled a list of the best fireworks shows in the south Sound so you can celebrate the 4th of July with family, friends, and fireworks. Remember to arrive early in order to snag the best viewing and be safe!

Fireworks Shows with Water Views

Lacey

When: Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Rainier Vista Community Park, 5475 45th Avenue SE, Lacey, WA 98503

Celebrate a day early at the Lacey Fireworks Spectacular on July 3rd. The musical fireworks show starts at 10pm, but the fun begins at 4pm with food, live music, and a kids’ zone. If you want an enhanced light show experience, Lacey Collision Center will be providing free 3D glasses, while supplies last. Point Ruston

When: Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Cummings Park, 3939 Ruston Way, Tacoma, WA 98402 & Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park, 5361 Yacht Club Road, Tacoma, WA 98405

Tacoma’s 4th of July Summer Blast is back, offering two locations to enjoy all the festivities of food trucks, beer gardens, live music and entertainment, and over 200 craft vendors. Cummings Park will also offer free kids’ activities as part of their Family Zone. The holiday’s finale will begin at 10 pm with a fireworks show over Commencement Bay, which will be visible from the entire Ruston Way waterfront. Port Orchard

When: Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Port Orchard Waterfront Park, 933 Bay Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366

During the Fathoms O’ Fun Festival, fireworks will be going off over the Sinclair Inlet. Head downtown and set up some chairs along the waterfront to enjoy the show. Fireworks can also be seen across the bay from the Bremerton waterfront. Arrive early to take part in some of the other activities, including food and craft vendors and live music. Bremerton

When: Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Bremerton Boardwalk  243 Second St, Second St, Bremerton WA, 98337

The Bremerton Bridge Blast is a two-day event (June 28th - June 29th) full of live music, and vendors at the Bremerton Boardwalk. The Bridge Blast features the largest fireworks show on the west coast!  Blast off is at 10:15 off the Manette Bridge, and the official viewing areas are at the Bremerton Boardwalk and the Evergreen-Rotary Park. 

Kingston

When: Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10:10pm 

Where: Mike Wallace Park, Washington Boulevard, Kingston, WA 98346

Fireworks will be Lighting up Kingston a little after 10pm as the culmination to this year’s 4th of July celebration. Festivities start at 8am that morning with a pancake breakfast, followed by bouncy houses for the kids, a parade, free hotdogs for kids, a beer, wine & spirits tent, live music, and more. Steilacoom

When: Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Downtown Steilacoom: 1617 Lafayette St, Steilacoom, WA 98388 

This beloved event is what Steilacoom is known for! You will enjoy the parade, a street fair, live music, a beer garden, many great vendors and activities. Every year, this event ends with a fireworks extravaganza over Puget Sound.

Fireworks Shows with NO Water Views

Fort Lewis

When: Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10pm

Where: Cowan Stadium,  2170 Bitar Ave Joint Base Lewis – McChord, WA 98433

The JLBM Freedom Fest is a full day of pre- 4th of July fun! It begins at 1pm and continues until the fireworks show at 10:15 pm. This day features a Freedom Wheels Auto Show, a carnival, vendors, live music and more! For more information, please check their website or watch this video for ID requirements to enter this event. 

Puyallup

When: Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10pm 

Where: Gold Gate Puyallup Fair, 133-299 9th Ave SE, Puyallup, WA 98372

The annual Red, White & Kaboom: Puyallup’s 3rd & 4th of July Celebration is held at the Gold & Teal Lots of the WA State Fairground. The live music and celebration can be enjoyed from 12pm – 10:30pm on July 3rd. Don’t miss out on their beer garden, 5k, food trucks, kids’ corner & fireworks display. The fun continues to Friday the 4th from 12:00pm-6:30pm 

Federal Way

When: Friday, July 4, 2025 at 10:15pm

Where: Celebration Park, 1095 S 324th Street, Federal Way, WA 98003

What better place to enjoy Federal Way’s Red, White & Blues Festival than at Celebration Park! Starting at 4pm there will be music, entertainment, food vendors, sports, family games, kids parade, and more. While there are no water views at this park, you can still enjoy a spectacular fireworks show at 10:15pm.
