WHAT Shoe Drive in support of Ali’s Prom Project

WHEN March 31 - April 2, 2023

WHERE Bloom Boutique, 4673 Point Fosdick Drive, Gig Harbor, WA 98335

Have you ever wanted to provide a Cinderella moment for a local teen? Join me and the Neighborhood Experts team during our upcoming shoe drive, and you’ll be able to! We would love for you to help us in supporting Ali’s Prom Project, a Tacoma-based charity with a mission of “Turning Dreams Into Reality” by providing new and used formal wear for teens who are low-income, homeless, or in foster care, ensuring that they are able to participate in prom and other events.

So if you’ve been needing a reason to clean out your closet, here it is! All you have to do is bring any new or lightly used formal footwear to Bloom Boutique in Uptown Gig Harbor, and you’ll even get to take home a pair of cute slides courtesy of me and my team. Drop off your donations any time* from Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2, 2023, or join us during our Launch Party on Friday, March 31st from 1pm to 3pm. There will be champagne and sweets, so stop by and say hi!

If you don’t have any formal footwear to pass along, there are multiple other ways to get involved with Ali’s Prom Project—you can donate a dress, give financially, support them through AmazonSmile or Fred Meyer’s Community Rewards Program, shop their wishlist on Amazon, or volunteer at their boutique.

Thank you in advance for taking this opportunity to give where you live, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

*Store hours are Friday and Saturday, 10am - 6pm, and Sunday, 11am - 6pm.
